This represents a total of 266,728 acres of land for sale in the state. The most expensive property listed for sale on Lands of America recently was $35 million, while the median price for land for sale in Nevada came in at $423,694. The average price of land advertised for sale in Nevada was $655,810. While Las Vegas casts an outsize glimmer over the entire state, Nevada holds a jackpot of outdoor adventures for those looking for an adrenaline rush beyond the casino floor. Red Rock Canyon is a popular day trip from Sin City, while the state shares a border with sparkling Lake Tahoe. Big-game species here available to hunt include mule deer, Rocky Mountain elk, three sub-species of bighorn sheep, pronghorn antelope, mountain goat and black bear.
