This is a very cool 10 acres located in a rural and remote valley about 14 miles NW of the small town of Montello and 30 miles NE of Wells Nevada as the crow flies. It is well off the beaten path and located in the Twentyone Mile Draw area only about 15 acres east of the draw itself! Montello is a small town of about 480 people sitting in the NE corner of Nevada not too far from the Utah/Nevada/Idaho state line. The small town offers a gas/mini grocery store, post office and restaurant. Wells and Wendover are larger towns to the SE and SW along Interstate 80. The big town of Elko is about 2 hours to the west where you will find a hospital and major shopping. Salt Lake City is about 2.5 hours to the east.
This parcel adjoins 640 acres of BLM land on the east side of the property!! For information on BLM land visit BLM.gov. I am often asked by hunters for land that adjoins BLM land and this one adjoins a whole square mile of it!
To the east is a long beautiful view of the Toano Mountain Range - very pretty! There are great views of the nearby NineMile Mountains from the west to the northwest. This land was once part of the Gamble Ranch north of Montello. This is such a fabulous place for someone who enjoys a good drive over the mountains on jeep trails with plenty of animals roaming about.
What a beautiful, quiet, peaceful place. I can't say enough about how beautiful I thought this area was. This valley is surrounded by an abundance of wildlife in two mountain ranges! If you have been looking for a place to get away from it all while you hunt or explore be sure and check this out! It is definitely off the beaten path and you will need a truck and even better a 4wd in places to get through some of the places where the intermittent streams run - a very fun and adventurous drive out to the property. This property is really ideally suited for a sportsman or outdoorsman seeking TONS of privacy in a remote area filled with wildlife.
